Alguns dias atrás o Facebook admitiu que aproximadamente 83 milhões de contas são irregulares, isso é quase 9% de todos os seus usuários. Agora, para melhorar a qualidade e credibilidade da rede e conquistar a confiança dos investidores, o Facebook começará a fechar essas contas.
Todas as contas classificadas como irregulares serão deletadas pelo Facebook e seus usuários não poderão mais acessá-las e nem mesmo criar novas contas usando o mesmo endereço de e-mail ou username.
Todas as informações existentes nessas contas ainda ficarão em um banco de dados chamado de “zona morta”, um limbo onde apenas o próprio Facebook tem acesso. O objetivo é usar essas informações para melhorar a segurança da rede social.
Uma conta irregular é qualquer perfil que não se enquadre nas políticas do Facebook, ou seja, serão fechados os perfis de pessoas menores de 13 anos, animais de estimação, empresas, sites e blogs, objetos, lugares e personagens fictícios.
Além dos irregulares mencionados acima, também serão deletados os perfis que fazem spam, perfis com nomes falsos, perfis de impostores, imitadores, fakes, fraudes e outros perfis que não obedecem as normas do Facebook.
Para animais, empresas, sites e blogs, objetos, lugares, grupos, personagens fictícios, bandas, marcas e eventos o Facebook pedem que sejam criadas páginas e não perfis. Todos os outros casos mencionados anteriormente não são permitidos no Facebook.
