The new Diablo 4 update adds new unique weapons and legendary aspects. Diablo 4 is getting closer to its first season, but first, the game will get some tweaks and bring new content to players.
Diablo 4 revealed its first season earlier this month, giving it the sombre title "Season of Viciousness." The reason is that Blizzard will be adding a new theme and core mechanic to Diablo 4: Viciousness. Diablo 4 players will team up with Cormond, ex-cleric of the Cathedral of Light, to find the source and stop the malignity from spreading throughout Sanctuary. Due to the theme, Diablo 4 Season 1 will add "male hearts" and other "male things" such as enemies, powers, and tunnels that serve as the game's new dungeons.
Diablo 4 has released patch 1.1.0 and adds six new unique weapons and seven new legendary aspects. In the new patch, each of Diablo 4's five classes gained new unique abilities, namely Azurewrath (the barbarian's unique sword), Flesrender (the druid's unique one-handed mace), Lidless Wall (unique shield for necromancers), Eaglehorn (unique bow for rogues) and The Oculus (unique wand for mages). The list of Uber Uniques for Diablo 4 has also grown with the introduction of the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander, and players can find the extremely rare Uber Unique employee in Tier 4, Diablo 4's highest difficulty world.
Diablo 4 Adds New Unique Weapon Legendary Aspect
Diablo 4's legendary aspects are very useful unique modifiers, as they can turn a rare item into a legendary item. To acquire one of these aspects, players can use Diablo 4's Codex of Power, or slay demons to obtain legendary items and extract aspects from them. With the release of patch 1.1.0, Diablo 4 classes gained new offensive aspects, including Ancestral Charge (Barbarian), Underground (Druid), Gore Quill (Necromancer), Plague Point (rogue) and Searing Ward (wizard). Diablo 4's new generic legendary aspects include Audacity, a utility aspect that stuns nearby enemies, and Craven, a utility aspect that stuns nearby enemies when moving away from slowing or icy enemies. Aspects that increase movement speed.
The first season of Diablo 4 kicks off on July 20, which means players have less and less time to prepare. After Blizzard's game made a splash in its first month, players are waiting to see how Diablo 4's seasonality system will work and how engaging it will be for the community in the long run.
