If you knew that death awaited you a year from now, how much differently would you Mindvalley’s Experience Lucid Dreaming live today? Death overtook our aunt while the rest of us were making plans for the New Year. Every time something like that happens, it's a wake-up call that reminds us with stark finality of our own end. Most of those who read this will end this year with a greater or lesser degree of success (however you choose to define that). Yet, some of you may not. Eventually, each of us will come to a year without a New Year's eve. Should we not begin this one with the end in mind? Indeed, "Memento Mori."
As I have searched for my personal meaning of life, I have done a great deal of meditation. There are times I feel an energy within me that wants to express itself in words. I either write out these words on the computer or speak them into a digital recorder.This is what, in the New Age spirituality, we call channeling. When we talk about awakening, we refer to those in two realms: what you might call the negative and those who simply are unaware and uninterested in what is happening in the world.The "negative" are the ones who believe in destruction and control that people should be in sadness and in fear. They would like the masses, those who live life unaware of what is happening in the world, to listen to their views. The positive would like the masses to listen to their particular point of view.
